Sweater Weather

Its Nippy this side of Africa ….time to break out the sweaters and boots.
I personally prefer the cold to the warm seasons.

Easy to dress for and takes no effort at all.

Essentials are basic, they include warm jeggings, sweaters, fabulous boots, scarfs and warm roomy jackets or Coats.

Frequently visiting the UK I'm always prepared for the cold. All i need is a Hot Chocolate and I'm good .

Mint with Envy

Don't be green with envy over girls who have mastered this pastel hue.

You too can rock this hue with serious panache.

I admit i am a little obsessed with anything mint. Its such a pretty colour especially for summer .

One mint piece can create an amazing effect to an outfit. It screams fresh!

I personally love tan or nude anything with mint.

You can also pair a mint coloured statement piece with black, denim, a floral blouse or as i have cream.

Any which way you do it…embrace it, its a color crush you must have.

Buckled in Black

My love for red soles aka "Christian Louboutin" will never die.

I am always looking for new ones or drooling over his website and feeding my shoe fetish .

While i am very loyal to Mr. Louboutin i also have a major crush on another italian Mr. Zanotti.

Giuseppe Zanotti  is one of the pinnacles of Italian shoe fashion, the veritable maestro of luxury footwear. With good reason!

His every collection seems to outdo the precessing one, he somehow manages to raise the bar for himself every season and then surpasses every shoe lovers expectations. 

I am a proud owner of a few pairs which i totally love.

I recently got the Leather Buckeld  strap sandal in Nero and have one word for it . Sexy!
The little black bag was the perfect addition to these hot shoes and why not? With a gold buckle handle its both sexy and edgy. who says you can't mix gold and silver? If you do it this way you are bang on trend.

These beauties also comes in a nude color which i would have picked over the black but they didn't have it in my size.

Fashion for Peace.

This year i was fortunate enough to be around to attend FAFA , Festival for African fashion and Arts showcasing emerging local designers and promote peace across generational, cultural, religious and socio - economic divides.

Having being only 8 months since we had a tragic terrorist attack at Westgate mall, it was amazing to note a great turnout for FAFA.

The message was clear PEACE.

Back to fashion, dress code was " Glamorous ".

I went with a jewel tone silk dress, paired it with gold lace pants & a gold rope belt for a rich look .

Added a statement necklace, my beloved "Louise" black LV clutch " and gorgeous gold heels to scream Glamorous.
