Sheer Lace & Leopard

Sheer tops are one of those hot trends that can be a bit of a puzzle for the average fashionista.

It's all sheer delight but bear in mind it means that your "tids and bits" will be on display. If you are going for the bra-under -sheer- top look, i say match well and please wear a properly fitted bra.

Conservative? Layer a tank top underneath or a corset or one of those tube tops, you can still rock it under a blazer if you choose.

It also pays to pay attention to the rest of your outfit. Since sheer tops are best worn loose and floaty, make sure to structure the bottom by wearing stiffer fabrics.

Choose from different sheer strengths. You can find sheer in different opaque fabrics that still hint at some sheerness. Just because it's sheer it doesn't have to be all transparent. 

Knowing how to wear sheer blouses can determine whether your outfit become sexy or sophisticated.

Christmas

Christmas this year was beautiful having the whole family around.

I decided to wear a short red summer dress to look festive as required.

Love this dress especially the rope detail on the neckline and the attitude it has on the shoulders.

Its light and comfortable and perfect for a sunny christmas.

Pucker Up

On sunday we took the kids to the Giraffe centre.
Thought they'd be excited but i went gaga instead.

We had the pleasure to meet Ibrahim. A two year old male Giraffe.
At first i was so scared to feed him, but once i started i couldn't stop.

I even puckered up and it was love at first sight.
We couldn't stop giving each other some slobbery ones.
 Too much info ?

The thing with animals,They only know one language, LOVE.
 Simply love them, pucker up and lay on the ones you love.
They give as much love back.

I wore green animal print pants paired with a plain black sleeveless shirt.
Completed it with a beautiful statement necklace and flat studded loafers for comfort.

Lets Go Nude

Among things you must have in your wardrobe are nude heels.

They work wonders to elongate a woman's leg, matched correctly to ones skin tone.

Our legs look fabulous in them, an item worth spending every penny.


Louboutin launched a 5 shade nude collection a few months ago, i was fortunate to be in Paris at the time and if you know me well i  had to have a pair from this collection.

My favorite are the Nude Lady peep 140mm

Christian Louboutin describes on his website " The shoes disappear like magic and become a fluid extension of the woman's legs, as in a sketch, elongating the silhouette "

Yes they are every fashionista's must have, nothing like a nude pump to spice up or calm down an outfit.

The chances of going wrong with a nude shoe are slim, still i would suggest

DONT … engineer your whole outfit to match your shoes
DO… when in doubt wear nude heels :)

No! Its not a school girl thing anymore its a cool girl thing.

Evolving from the time it was first worn by royalty, old Hollywood starlets, the 90's grunge
and recently seen on the runways plaid is becoming a fashion staple.

Mix with a leather jacket and boots for a biker chic look or make it look ultra -femme paired with a short girly skirt.

Im craving anything Tartan or plaid these days.

Whichever way you choose to wear yours, Plaid is powerful!

Other than their obvious functionality, boots should be a part of a woman's wardrobe to add versatility to common everyday outfits. They can inspire different looks with just a shift of clothes

Look ladylike wearing skirts and dresses or look chic donning jeans or leggings
Just make sure you wear a loose top that extends generously below the waistline

Invest in a good pair of boots, they will not just keep you warm but up the amp of your fashion style
